Letter of Intent for

The Honorable Lord Edward Foxley and The Honorable Lady Allegra Ginevra Soave da Napoli

Unto Their Glorious Majesties of the Midrealm and the worthy People of the Barony of Flaming Gryphon do we, THL Edward Foxley and THL Allegra Ginevra Soave da Napoli, send fond greetings and hereby present ourselves as candidates for the next Baron and Baroness of Flaming Gryphon.

We understand and appreciate the essential role of service in our Society, and the importance of demonstrating and upholding the ideals of The Dream. ��We are Companions of the Order of the Dragon�s Heart and recipients of the Award of the Sapphire.���

THL Edward is an active combatant on both the Heavy and Rapier fields and is a marshal in both disciplines. He is a Sergeant of the Red Company and had the honor of representing the Barony as their Heavy Weapons Champion.� He has also been chosen to serve the Barony as Rapier Champion and was selected as the Known World Baronial Rapier Champion at Pennsic that year.� He has been placed on the Unbelted Champion team twice and served the Rapier community as the South Oaken Regional Commander for three years.� Edward was Seneschal for the Canton of Hawkes Keye for two years before becoming Flaming Gryphon�s Baronial Seneschal, a role he filled for nearly five years. Edward began in the SCA by performing with the commedia dell'arte troupe i Scandali, eventually serving as their director. The troupe was selected as the Barony�s Arts and Sciences Champions while he was directing.

THL Allegra, Companion of the Order of the Evergreen, is a staunch supporter of the Arts and Sciences.� She is committed to demonstrating and teaching various arts, both in the Barony and in other parts of the Midrealm.�� Her dedication to the Barony has led her to serve in a number of offices: as Baronial Pursuivant for four years; as Pursuivant for the Canton of Hawkes Keye for eight years; as MoAS for two different shires; and as Deputy Seneschal for Hawkes Keye.�� She has been the event steward for multiple demos and events, including a Kingdom Heraldic and Scribal Symposium, and frequently volunteers at events in roles such as Hall Steward and Court Herald. �She has retained for the Royal Family at many events.� She also supports the arts martial through waterbearing and hosting local fight practices.

We take our oaths to the Crown to �Serve where serve we might� very seriously. �We feel that we have the capacity, knowledge, and longevity to serve the Crown as Their representatives to the people of our SCA home, our family of Flaming Gryphon. We believe that the Barony of Flaming Gryphon is a shining jewel in the Middle Kingdom, and we would seek to increase its renown throughout the Kingdom and beyond.� It is our heartfelt and sincere hope that Their Majesties and the people of Flaming Gryphon will find us worthy of this endeavor.�� We seek the opportunity to be the loyal representatives of the Dragon Thrones in the Barony we love, and to further The Dream that we all share.
