Greetings to Master Phillip the Pilgrim Baronial Senschal, Daffyd and Meriel Baron and Baroness of Flaming Gryphon, Their Royal Majesties Nikolai and Serena and the populace of Flaming Gryphon. May this missive find you in good health and good spirits.

Please accept this letter as our written intent to participate as candidates in the upcoming polling for the position of Baron and Baroness of Flaming Gryphon.

As candidates it is our plan to ensure the talents of the many artisans, scribes, warriors and archers of the Barony are put forth for all the kingdom to see. We will continue to nurture and grow the Barony in its many facets to the very best of our ability putting those interests and responsibilities ahead of our own. We are especially well positioned with our membership in three of the four kingdom peerage orders, strong ties to the newest peerage order and knowledge of the court to ensure the many fine qualities of our Barony are brought to the fore. We also plan to visit all Baronial group meetings on a published schedule as our predecessors have done. We will both be attending Pennsic War and camping with the Barony if chosen and we will work towards establishing some annual travel events to help the Barony discover the rest of kingdom for those less traveled than ourselves.

We have both been in the Society for Creative Anachronism for more than 30 years serving in a host of baronial positions in that time and are well known to the Barony. We have made a lifetime commitment to the organization and this will only further deepen that commitment. The Barony of Flaming Gryphon is the only home we have ever known and we welcome this opportunity to serve and look forward to working with Crown and Kingdom if we are chosen.

If anyone has questions or comments we are always available for discussion. We will be in attendance November 7th at Baronial Championships to speak of our intent and answer any questions those attending might have. Please feel free to contact us at any time if more information is required. Our membership and identification documents are attached.

Warm regards and in service the Barony, Kingdom and Crown we remain,

Mistress Isolde de la Ramee, OL

Baron William of Fairhaven, KSCA, OP

(Pat and Mary Savelli)
