I think the Midrealm regitered much higher on the We're-Having-Fun-O-Meter than the East did. We also happened to end the war with more points than the East. But in my book, you win at Pennsic by having fun. The Middle fought a spirited war and, thanks to Her Majesty's inspiration, never lost sight of the importance of chivalry and honor.

As for Gryphon's role in the war effort, I think it was very evident that we spend more time practicing at fighting than we do at singing.
