>From September 6-November 29 the Indianapolis Museum of Art will show 44
pages from an Indian imperial manuscript, the Padshahmama (Chronicle of
the
King of the World). Written in the late 1630s, the ms records the
first
decade of the reign of Shah-Jahan, who built the Taj Mahal. This
exhibit
is on loan from the Royal Library, Windsor (UK). I know this is a bit
out
of period, but the sample illuminations are fantastic.
