Subject: [Mid] Oaken Regional Signet job posting
Hi everyone,
Pennsic is over, almost everything is unpacked...
And now I have a bit of news, I am looking for a replacement.
I have decided that I have done my time as Oaken Regional Sigent and wish to pass on the job to another. I will say that my time in office has been fullfilling and enjoyable, but I have reached a point that other mundane commitments are looming and other interests are calling, and I'm not sure I can give the job my full attention. I am willing to help out the new Signet while they learn more about their new job, and plan on staying active as a scribe.
The position encludes, but is not limited to, coordinating scrolls assignments from the Crown in the Oaken region, keeping roster of active scribes in your region, assisting with scrolls before courts at events in your region ( if you are at the event) and reporting to the Kingdom Signet about your activities as Signet and the activies of the scribes in your region.
This position could be handled in two ways. I took on both Northeren and Southern Oaken together, but if we get two interested gentles, one from each region, I see no real reason why it can not be separated again.
Please feel free to ask any questions about the postion if you are interested. Send me a letter/e-mail telling me why you want the position and why you think you will are a good choice for it ( something like an informal resume ) and I will pass them on to the Kingdom Signet. The final decision is in the hands of the Crown, but she will want to look over the "applicants" also.
I would like to thank all of the scribes of the Oaken region for their efforts and cooperation. Especaily those that answered the last minute requests with an "I'll get it done somehow."
In Service Conal O'hAirt Jim Hart
Jim's Law - If it makes sense it probably doesn't happen.;)
